JC2 goes virtual for its 15th edition!

JC2 Overview

The goal of the “Journées Codage & Cryptographie” (aka JC2) event is to bring together the French scientific community whose research interest includes coding theory and cryptography.

The C2 Work Group, which is part of the GDR IM and the GDR Sécurité Informatique, is responsible for this event. In its 2020 edition, it is also organized by the IRISA (CNRS, Univ Rennes), Lip6 and Orange Labs. Previsous editions were held in Aussoie in 2018, in La Bresse in 2017, in La Londe-les-Maures in 2015, in Sept Laux in 2014, in Dinard in 2012, in Saint-Pierre d’Oléron in 2011, in Fréjus in 2009, in Carcans in 2008, in Eymoutiers in 2006, in Aussois in 2005, in CIRM in 2002, in Batz-sur-Mer in 1999, in Asnelles-sur-Mer in 1998 and in Nantes in 1996.

Dates and Location

The 15th edition of JC2 is going to take place from Monday November 2nd 2020, until Friday, November 6th, as a virtual event.

Outline

The program consists of short talks presenting recent research works. The organizers hope that such a program would allow attendees to both discover new topics and to acquire further knowledge in their own domains.

The resulted discussions are particularly rewarding for young researchers; the organizers highly recommend PhD students and post-docs to submit their work.
