JC2 Overview<\/span><\/h3>\n

The goal of the \u201cJourn\u00e9es Codage & Cryptographie\u201d (aka JC2) event is to bring together the French scientific community whose research interest includes coding theory and cryptography.<\/p>\n

The C2 Work Group<\/a>, which is part of the GDR IM<\/a> and the GDR S\u00e9curit\u00e9 Informatique<\/a>, is responsible for this event. In its 2020 edition, it is also organized by the IRISA<\/a> (CNRS, Univ Rennes), Lip6<\/a> and Orange Labs. Previsous editions were held in Aussoie in 2018<\/a>, in La Bresse in 2017<\/a>, in La Londe-les-Maures in 2015<\/a>, in Sept Laux in 2014<\/a>, in Dinard in 2012<\/a>, in Saint-Pierre d\u2019Ol\u00e9ron in 2011<\/a>, in Fr\u00e9jus in 2009<\/a>, in Carcans in 2008<\/a>, in Eymoutiers in 2006<\/a>, in Aussois in 2005, in CIRM in 2002, in Batz-sur-Mer in 1999, in Asnelles-sur-Mer in 1998 and in Nantes in 1996.<\/p>\n

Dates and Location<\/span><\/h3>\n

The 15th<\/sup> edition of JC2 is going to take place from Monday November 2nd 2020, until Friday, November 6th, as a virtual event.<\/p>\n

Outline<\/span><\/h3>\n

The program consists of short talks presenting recent research works. The organizers hope that such a program would allow attendees to both discover new topics and to acquire further knowledge in their own domains.<\/p>\n

The resulted discussions are particularly rewarding for young researchers; the organizers highly recommend PhD students and post-docs to submit their work.<\/p>\n
